"Windsurfer in Force Nine"

"The weathermen had been predicting for several days that a Force Nine gale was going to sweep in,
so I set out to Hayling Island determined to do some seascape photography. This stretch of water,
The Solent, is generally well protected by the Isle of Wight and this was the highest that I have
seen the sea here. To have the windsurfer go out, right into the height of the waves, was a real
bonus. I'm often asked about the safe return of the windsurfer but he was still out having the
time of his life when, after two exhausting hours of my own, I set for home".
