"This pond was very local to my old home, situated in the Hook nature reserve
near Warsash, Hampshire. This is right at the mouth of the River Hamble, where
it
flows into Southampton Water. It was always an enjoyable walk out here,
with
plenty
of activity both from the numerous marine birds and the even more
numerous sailing vessels as they
returned to the busiest sailing river in the UK".
