Farne Islands, Northumberland

"A 05:15AM start was required for me to get down to the beach
at Bamburgh to photograph the rising sun on this August morning.
The cloud cover allowed a harmonious exposure across both sky
and sand. On the horizon lie the Farne islands, one of the best
places in Britain to view seabirds".
