"Receding Wave, Heacham"

"I took this photograph at Heacham, Norfolk. Although on the East coast of England, this location
near Hunstanton, actually faces West. So here I was trying to capture the colour that remained
in the sunset sky reflected in the receding wave. With long exposure photography (here, about
two seconds), you never really know what results you are going to get until you see the
processed slides (Howls of derision from digital camera users!). I was delighted when I saw this
photograph for the first time".
