"Arriving in Keflakik airport late at night I decided to drive to Gulfoss and sleep in the
car. When I arrived at the falls at about 03:30 any attempt at photography was made
almost impossible by the viscious freezing wind. So after a few hours sleep it was good
to see the sun. Gulfoss is, by Icelandic standards, a major tourist attraction so it was
a treat to see the falls totally alone.
