"Gold Hill, Shaftesbury, Dorset "

"This is a frequently photographed scene (and one made famous by a
bread advert in the nineteen-seventies!). However it is not one that
I had ever seen photographed in the snow. Snow is not very common
in this part of South England so after a slight snow covering over
night I set out to photograph snowy landscapes and ended up in
Shaftesbury. I tried to compose the photograph such that the
context of the rolling English countryside in the background
was included".
